Building Community Trust
Building a better community.

My name is Adam Eggleston, and I’m running to be the next mayor of Fort Collins.
We’re at a defining moment—one where we have the opportunity to strengthen what makes our city exceptional. While national politics grow louder, it’s time to double down on what we can shape right here at home: a vibrant, inclusive, and future-ready Fort Collins rooted in connection, innovation, and shared values.

As a lifelong resident, I’ve seen our city thrive when we lead with openness and collaboration. Fort Collins has always been a place where big ideas take root—where diverse voices come together to solve complex challenges and build something greater than the sum of its parts. But in recent years, we’ve felt the pressure of outside forces pulling us away from our local priorities. It’s time to re-center our focus and chart a path forward that reflects who we are.

As mayor, I will bring a grounded, experienced, and optimistic voice to City Hall—one that champions thoughtful progress, responsible leadership, and real results for our community. I’ll support policies that deliver tangible benefits without raising taxes, ensuring every dollar we invest advances the well-being and resilience of our city.
We’ll focus on expanding housing options through gentle density, improving mobility through better-connected transit, and achieving our vision of a 15-minute city—where opportunity, services, and community are always close to home. Fort Collins can and should be a magnet for forward-thinking businesses, environmental leadership, and inclusive growth.

As a small business owner, I know the perseverance it takes to succeed here. I’ll work to restore Fort Collins as a small business powerhouse, cutting red tape, stabilizing commercial space, and making it easier for local entrepreneurs to thrive. These businesses are the heartbeat of our city: they create jobs, fuel innovation, and reflect the character of our neighborhoods.

With over 15 years of civic service on boards, task forces, and working groups, I bring deep knowledge of how our city works—and a clear vision for where it can go. Together, we can build a Fort Collins that’s more affordable, connected, and inclusive, while staying true to the spirit that makes this place home. Let’s move forward, proud of where we’ve been, and excited about where we’re going.

Our Campaign Focus
Housing Strategies
Middle Housing is Key
Access to middle housing is essential to a thriving Fort Collins, empowering working families to build wealth, live near opportunity, and support local businesses and services through strong economic participation. Reducing barriers to homeownership must be a top priority to ensure our city remains inclusive, stable, and future-focused.
Small Business
Community Engagement
Civic Connection
As mayor, I will prioritize transparency, engage the public year-round, and create an accessible government. I believe that meetings should serve the residents instead of just accommodating officials. I am dedicated to increasing civic participation, especially among young people, and ensuring that every voice is heard and has a place at the table.
Fiscal Responsibility
The Community Connectors
As mayor, I will prioritize small business support by streamlining city processes, promoting affordability through voluntary rent stabilization incentives, and ensuring that opportunity zones benefit local entrepreneurs, not just outside investors. I’ll push for clear, efficient permitting, modernized marketing tools, and a business-friendly City Hall that works with small business owners, not against them.
Inspiring Change
Visual representations of leadership and community involvement play a vital role in our campaign. We use imagery that showcases effective leadership and highlights the impact of community engagement in the City of Fort Collins.
